The loading and unloading of press-fit solid tires is usually carried out on the tire press using auxiliary tools. In order to ensure the safety and accuracy of the installation of solid tires, the following four standards should be paid attention to:
1. First, check the compatibility of the solid tire and the rim, that is, whether the size of the tire to be installed is the same as that of the rim. The inspection of the rim includes whether the rim has defects and whether there are burrs. If there are burrs, polish them first, otherwise they may damage the inside of the tire hub and affect installation and use.
2. In order to ensure the smooth installation of solid tires and reduce friction with the rim, special lubricants for tires can be sprayed during installation. The use of common industrial lubricants such as greases is strictly prohibited because they will swell rubber and damage the tires.
3. When placing the tire on the rim, do not skew, the rim must be installed in place, and the bolts must be tightened, otherwise the slippery ring or the separation of the tire rim may cause danger.
4. According to the standard requirements, the tires must be concentric when installed on the car. Tyres of different specifications and different wear and tear should not be installed on the same vehicle or on the same axle, and should not be mixed with pneumatic tyres, otherwise it may easily cause personal and equipment accidents.
