Solid tire is a kind of tire corresponding to pneumatic tire (hollow tire). Its carcass is solid, which is suitable for low-speed and heavy-duty vehicles; because solid tires have the advantages of wear resistance, puncture resistance and no need for inflation, they are widely used in minerals. Mining, engineering construction and cargo handling, etc. With the emerging development of my country's industry, the number of industrial vehicles has increased substantially, and so has the number of used solid tires. Waste tires are hazardous solid waste, called "black pollution", which has caused considerable obstacles to the construction of my country's ecological civilization. Therefore, it is urgent to effectively dispose of these waste tires.
The existing methods for disposing of used tires include:
1) Overall regeneration. Tire retreading refers to a process in which old tires are partially repaired, processed, and re-applied with tread rubber, and then vulcanized to restore their use value. Waste tires can be used as buffers for ships in the docks, as road protection fences or soil and water conservation fences, and used for building sound-absorbing partitions. This reuse method will neither cause waste of rubber resources nor cause re-pollution of the environment.
2) Manufacturing reclaimed rubber. Reclaimed rubber refers to waste rubber that undergoes physical and chemical processes such as crushing, heating, and mechanical treatment to make its elastic state become plastic and viscous rubber that can be revulcanized.
3) Production of rubber powder. Rubber powder is used in the rubber industry, directly molded or combined with new rubber to make products; the other is used in modified asphalt pavement, modified asphalt production of waterproof membranes, and used as coating and protective layer in the construction industry Wait. The crushing process for producing rubber powder includes ozone crushing, high-pressure blasting crushing, and low-temperature fine crushing.
4) Pyrolysis and incineration. Pyrolysis is the use of external heating to open the chemical chain, and organic matter is decomposed into fuel gas, aromatic-rich oil, carbon black and other valuable chemical products. Tires have a high calorific value. Waste tires can be used as fuel in cement kilns and can be burned to generate electricity.
