The main economic component of solid tires is rubber. Polyurethane develops tires into non-polyurethane. At present, many companies in our country can use either a solid tire or polyurethane tires. Then, such as forklifts, trailers, AGVs, etc., Actually need to use, our country should learn how to choose? What is the difference between the two?
1. Buffering performance
Cushioning performance is directly related to the driving comfort and safety of tires. The higher the hardness, the lower the cushioning performance. When the hardness of rubber tires is usually 67 ~ 75 degrees (SHORE A), and the hardness of polyurethane tires is often as high as 83 ~ 95 degrees, the driving comfort of rigid polyurethane tires is much worse than that of solid tires. At the same time, due to the hardness, solid tires can be used on rough roads, while polyurethane tires are suitable for use on platforms.
2. Carrying capacity
Polyurethane is used to analyze and compare the load-carrying management capacity of tires and solid tires. The load-carrying capacity of solid tires is relatively lower than that of polyurethane tires. The level of load-carrying development of polyurethane tires is about 1.5-2 times that of solid rubber tires. The solid rubber tire companies of the same size are much higher than in our country.
3. Traction performance
The adhesion of solid tires and polyurethane tires to the road is significantly different. In order to improve the performance of the traction system of the company's polyurethane tires, polyurethane tires usually have sipes or patterns of different development forms on the tire surface. However, even if we do, the research on the traction performance of polyurethane tires is still not as good as solid tires.
