Forklift tires include pneumatic tires and solid tires. The tire inflation pressure must be in accordance with the original manufacturer’s standard and must not be too high or too low. If it is too high, the elasticity of the tire will decrease, and the thread layer will easily break. Too low air pressure can cause violent deformation of the tire, increase in temperature, and cause degumming or cracking. It may also cause the tire to move on the rim and wear the bead. (1) If the tire has cracks, holes, blisters, delamination, etc., it should be repaired or overhauled according to the specific conditions. If there are continuous cracks around the carcass, the tread rubber has been polished and there are large holes, the carcass line layer has annular cracks and the whole circle is separated, it should be replaced.
(2) When small holes are found in the inner tube, hot or cold repair can be performed.
1) Hot repair: File the roughness around the damaged part of the inner tube, paste the fire repair rubber on the damaged part, and make the hole and small hole just in the center of the repair rubber, then install the tire repair clamp against the normalizing repair rubber and tighten it. The screw is pressed tightly, and the heating agent on the glue is ignited. After 10-15 minutes, the adhesive can be tightly bonded.
2) Raw rubber patch (cold patch): File rough around the inner tube break, apply raw glue, and apply secondary glue after the surface of the glue is slightly dry. When the glue is air-dried, attach the prepared raw rubber to the broken On the mouth, pressurize and heat up to 140-145℃, keep the temperature for 10-20 minutes to vulcanize the raw rubber, and after cooling, it can be tightly bonded.
